Brief Description:
The Department of Architecture at Vishwakarma University conducted a settlement study in RANJE village, near Pune, by its first-year students. Immersed in the village's traditional fabric, they explored its cultural essence, interacting closely with locals to grasp their daily lives and values. Documenting timber construction houses and delving into the history and significance of the famed Ranjeshwar Shiva Temple, students gained invaluable insights into traditional architecture's evolution and significance. This study serves as a vital educational tool, equipping budding architects with a profound understanding of traditional architectural principles and the cultural contexts that shape them, fostering appreciation and preservation of architectural heritage.
We are thrilled to share an exciting opportunity that the Faculty of Architecture - Department of Interior Spaces organized for all students of the Interior Spaces department. On 13th January 2024, a visit to the A & I Digest exhibition was arranged at Creaticity, Pune. The exhibition visit aimed to provide students with a firsthand experience of the latest trends, innovations, and creative designs in the field of architecture and interior spaces.
