Details Report: The POSH Act is a legislation enacted by the Government of India in 2013 to address the issue of sexual harassment faced by women in the workplace. The Act aims to create a safe and conducive work environment for women and provide protection against sexual harassment. For matters connected therewith or incidental there to the Internal Complaints Committee has been constituted for the redressal of complaints made by employees. Guest Session on Awareness on POSH Act 2013 was organized by the Internal Complaint Committee for Students. This program included a guest lecture by the expert Mrs Kiron Moghe who provided information about the POSH Act 2013.

Vishwakarma University advocates the empowerment of women and has zero tolerance for sexual harassment, for matter connected therewith or incidental there to the Internal Complaints Committee has been constituted for the redressal of complaints made by employees. Guest Session on Women Security and POSH act 2013 was organized by the Internal Complaint Committee for faculty members. This program included a guest lecture by the expert Dr Pravin Pargoankar who provided information about the POSH Act 2013.

The Visionary Club of the Faculty of Science and Technology has successfully organized a Hackathon event on 06th November 2023. BTech, Bsc and Msc students showcase their skills and innovation in the field of technology. The hackathon covered diverse domains of interest i.e., Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning(AI/ML), Cybersecurity and Internet of Things(IoT). At the start a felicitation ceremony was held to express gratitude to honourable Dean S&T, Dr. Nitin Satpute and HoD AI, Dr. Pratibha Mahajan, with the presentation of saplings as tokens of appreciation. It was graced by the presence of esteemed faculty members.
In the event the problem statements were declared to 32 teams and they were allocated a room for their hackathon activities, adorned with vibrant decorations and inspirational quotes. Core members and team management members oversaw the smooth progress of the hackathon activities. 10 judges evaluated the teams. The event concluded with the announcement of the top three winning teams for each domain. Dean S&T, Dr. Nitin Satpute and Associate Dean S&T, Dr. Sanjesh Pawale shared their insights and offered words of appreciation.
The Department of Computer Science organized a workshop on First Aid on 26/10/2023 from 10.15am to 12.15pm. Total 56 Students from the computer science department attended the workshop.

The Department of Interior Spaces, in collaboration with the Placement Cell at Vishwakarma University, orchestrated a series of interviews on 23/10/2023 for students entering their 6th semester of the Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design (BAID) program. The initiative aimed at providing students with valuable internship opportunities to enhance their practical skills and industry exposure.

In the first session, we were honored to welcome ID Roma Sarda, an Interior Designer, and Consultant at iDesign, Pune. The captivating discussion centered around Salon Design, offering valuable insights into the art and science of creating inviting and functional salon spaces. The session took place in the vibrant setting of our Department of Interior Spaces, providing students with a real-world connection to the expertise shared.

Following this, our second guest session focused on Dental Clinic Design, featuring ID Hitesh Kule as the expert speaker. The session delved into the unique considerations and creative aspects involved in designing dental clinics. Held within the inspiring walls of our Department of Interior Spaces,students gained a deeper understanding of the specialized requirements in healthcare design.

These sessions were not just talks; they were windows into the real challenges and creativity in the world of design.
