All 17 Sustainable Development Goals are aimed at addressing the problems of society in view of satisfying the need for environmental conservation. Prioritizing the same objective of creating a sustainable environment for the users of the University campus, this unique ECOCAMPUS has been founded and the Centre of Excellence for Energy and Sustainability has been established.
To develop VU as a “global sustainability thought leader committed to improving the society by providing an empowering partnership for the development of technology and educating the future generation”
To holistically address the sustainability at Vishwakarma University by using the following:
Four Computer Engineering students have completed the internship on Data Science for Green Building and Climate Analytics October 2021 to August 2022 with Qi Square Singapore.
#Energy and Sustainability Center of Excellence of VU has organized the training on "Performing Energy Simulation using Integrated Environmental Solution in Virtual Environment". The full day training was attended by 16 Architecture students and 2 industry participants on October 14th and 15th. The participants were given hands on training on the software for all modules. Development of 3D model, tracing of existing model, suncast analysis, daylight simulation and other models were covered during training. The trainer Mr. #Aniket Chaudhari from IES Pune has delivered basics of all modules. Thank you all participants for being so interactive during session. Thank you Aniket for providing all necessary and useful knowledge. Thank you IES Pune for all support and #Dr. Kailas Patil, Director of #Energy and Sustainability Center of Excellence for providing guidance. This training has opened new avenues for internship for students, new training opportunities, collaboration. Students, faculties, industry consultants, building and energy material vendors can contact me on maya.kurulekar@vupune.ac.in if interested in such basic and advanced training on energy simulation in IESVE.
Coordinator of Training: Maya Kurulekar
Deputy Director of #Energy and Sustainability Center of Excellence
Maya Kurulekar completed the training of Energy Management System conducted by #Bureau Veritas. Also successfully cleared the exam for certification of #PR366 EnMS ISO 50001-2018 Lead Auditor.
Thanks to #SB Pandey sir for giving excellent training. Thanks to all delegates for cooperation during training.
Thank you #Prof. Kailas Patil, Director Energy and Sustainability Centre of Excellence, Vishwakarma University for encouragement.
