In response to the evolving landscape of innovation and societal needs, Vishwakarma University is embarking on a transformative initiative, Vishwakarma University Institute of Innovation (VUII) in consultation with Prof. B.K. Chakravarthy from the IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay. This collaborative effort aims to establish a dynamic innovation ecosystem that fosters a humanity-centric model of development. By integrating stakeholders from academia, government and industry, the initiative seeks to generate new opportunities, build capacities, and create impactful solutions that address the unmet needs of society.

On 15th March 2024 Vishwakarma University had an inaugural program of Vishwakarma University Institute of Innovation(VUII)in collaboration with Prof. B.K Chakravarthy, Innovation Studio,IDC School,IIT Bombay.
The Inauguration Programme was held in Eco Campus Auditorium of Vishwakarma University. The perogramme started with lamplighting & Ganesh Vandana by Music Department of Vishwakarma University. Further President of VU Mr. Bharat Agarwal welcomed the guest Prof. B.K Chakravarthy.
Further VUI2 logo was revieled. Which was followed Introduction of the team by prof. Nishant Kamboj & presentation by Innovation Champions about various ideas for betterment of the societies.
Later Prof. Siddharth Jabade (Vice Chancellor, VU) gave his closing remark. The logo design, frame design, graphic design & branding. design students & professons were rewarded with certificates along with the winners of Essay Competition. The programme was concluded with the vote of Thanks.

The students from all domains under the VUII Summer Internship visited IIT Bombay for a 2-day program on July 2nd and 3rd, 2024, under the guidance of Prof. Nishant Kamboj and mentors from various fields. During the visit, IIT Bombay organized three expert sessions conducted by Prof. Avinash Shende, Prof. Sandesh Ramu, and Prof. Poorva Joshi. Students also had the opportunity to explore the innovation labs. On the second day, students presented prototypes of their research work to IIT professors and received valuable suggestions.

The event was graced by our esteemed guest, Mr. Nitin Panwar, who delivered an inspiring speech to the interns and mentors present. The ceremony began with a warm welcome to Mr. Panwar, who shared valuable insights on professional growth, the importance of internships in shaping future careers, and the significance of continuous learning. His words resonated deeply with the attendees, encouraging them to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the internship to their future endeavours. Following the keynote address, certificates were distributed to the interns, recognizing their hard work and dedication over the past months. Each student was acknowledged for their specific contributions and growth during the program. In addition to the students, mentors were also recognized and honoured with certificates for their exceptional guidance and support throughout the internship. Their mentorship played a crucial role in the interns professional development, and their contributions were highly appreciated by both the organization and the students. The ceremony concluded with a group photo and a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Mr. Nitin Panwar for his inspiring presence and to all the mentors and students for their commitment to the program. The event was a resounding success, celebrating the achievements of both interns and mentors.
