Objective:

The case study site visits were organized as part of the curriculum for PRINCIPLES & APPLICATIONS OF VASTUSHASTRA to provide students with practical experiences and enhance their understanding of real-world design challenges. The focus was on exploring Vastu principles for residential spaces, emphasizing the perfect positioning of individual spaces within houses and the application of remedies for Vastu corrections based on directional aspects.

Learning Highlights:

During the site visits, students had the opportunity to:

  1. Vastu Perfect Positions: Understand and analyze the application of Vastushastra principles in residential spaces, focusing on perfect positions for different areas of the house.
  2. Remedies for Vastu Corrections: Learn about the practical application of remedies for Vastu corrections, addressing directional aspects for better energy flow and harmony.Lighting & AC Design: Understanding the role of lighting and air conditioning in creating a comfortable and appealing shopping environment.

The site visit aimed to provide practical exposure and hands-on experience to MAID II Sem students in understanding the complexities and challenges involved in designing a Branded Garment Showroom. This real-world case study enriches their education and enhances their ability to tackle design problems in a professional setting.

During the visit, students explored various aspects related to the design problem, including:

  1. Clothing Sections: Understanding the layout and organization of different clothing sections within the showroom.
  2. Branding Strategies: Analyzing the branding strategies employed by PANTALOONS to create a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.
  3. Visual Display Design: Examining the visual display design, including island and regular display arrangements, to attract and engage customers.
  4. Flexibility of Displays: Learning about the flexibility of displays to adapt to changing trends and seasons.
  5. Dimensional Data: Gaining insights into the importance of dimensional data in designing effective and functional spaces.

Vishwaayan Sports Fest 2024

Date - 24 th February 2024

The much-awaited sports fest “Vishwaayan Sports Fest” has been started from 24th February 2024. Several indoor activities like chess, carom and Table Tennis were conducted on inaugural day. The participating players were encouraged and cheered throughout the matches. Approx 120 students showcased a great sense of discipline and mastery of skill achieved through months of hard work. The spirit of sportsmanship was in the air. Many more sports events will be conducted in upcoming weeks.



Date - 2nd March 2024

Event – Badminton

Badminton matches were conducted on Saturday, 2nd March 2024. Almost 150 students were participated with full enthusiasm and sportsman spirit. Approx 140 matches were played on three wooden courts in a day.











Date – 16th & 17th March 2024

Event – Cricket

Cricket tournament were conducted on 16th and 17th March 2024. Almost 340 students were participated and 32 matches were played.













Date – 22nd & 23rd March 2024

Event – Football & Volleyball

Football and Volleyball tournament were conducted on 22nd and 23rd March 2024. Almost 210 students were participated and 20 matches were played.

Event – Prize distribution ceremony for all the events

All the winners and Runners were awarded with trophies and medals on the Final day of “Vishwaayan 2024” 29th March 2024.
