| Outcome | On successful completion of the B.Des.(Visual Communication Design / Product Design / Interaction Design) programme at VU (A&D) the student will be able to : |
| 1 | Understand the inter-relationship of various parameters in the design process like gathering data, analyzing, synthesizing and applying to develop a design solution. |
| 2 | Analyze, synthesize, and utilize design processes and strategies from concept to delivery to creatively solve communication problems. |
| 3 | Specialize in particular domains and aligned sectors. |
| 4 | Apply the principles of design fundamentals, analytical thinking, problem-solving during the daily practice of drawing & design. |
| 5 | Conduct thorough field research and collect qualitative and quantitative information for an interdisciplinary approach |
| 6 | Maintain ethics in design application as per need and situation. |
| 7 | Communicate ideas through visuals with an understanding of digital and traditional ways of drawing. |
| 8 | Evaluate and apply various methodologies as per the needs of the target audience.. |

| 10 | Employ Real-World Applications: Design seamless products (digital and physical) and user-friendly interfaces that spark their professional interest. |
