“The first time I went into the university to take admission for B.A. Travel and Tourism, I was overwhelmed by its airy infrastructure and the genuinely helpful staff. Now that I’ve been here for more than a year it feels like an extended family. The excellence of the teachers combined with their kind nature and dedication to their field is an inspiration to many students. They make sure that you are prepared for every hurdle that will come in our career. The teaching format is not just based upon theory but more about practical work and field visit. There are seminars by various international tourism professionals that help in getting a worldwide idea of the field. We celebrate our World Tourism Day as a big festival and a department event which is a highlight of the department. To ensure students get access to the practical knowledge, the university arranges domestic as well international tours for us to get first-hand experience of the industry and learn the global tourism markets. I am grateful to be a part of Vishwakarma University and as the slogan says they do maximize the human potential.”

“Though it was a new university and a new course still I took admission because of the course of the robust course structure and the career support. The university had also arranged a national tour to Rajasthan in April 2019. We got exposure to understand the tourism market of Rajasthan. It was a great tour and the arrangements were done by the students. Due to this, the students got a first-hand experience to understand how to plan and organize a tour, how to make it cost-effective, etc. The faculties are also very supportive and they have a deep understanding of the subjects they teach. I, myself got an opportunity to escort an international tour to Singapore where I got a deep understanding of how, what, why to do certain things in a particular way on the tour. I even filled the visa forms, learned what measures to take while booking international air tickets. We get to organize and manage events at the university and that helps us to boost our morale, confidence, and public speaking. Hence, it is a very great experience to be a student of Vishwakarma University.”

“Our curriculum is based on practical as well as theoretical like we have field trips at local, national and international level also the projects which involve interacting with real people, this in a true sense helps us to understand industry and public’s view on it. Moving towards faculty members they support us a lot, the way they teach us is so active that it helps to understand and know the subject in-depth and they are not only available for us during university hours but also after university and I think that is the best part about the university. As we all know the pandemic of Covid 19 is spread all over the world and because of that the university is closed physically but virtually it is ongoing on platforms like VOLP (independent online learning platform created by the university), zoom or google meet so that there is no gap in our academics, but apart from only focusing on academics the faculty members also motivate us in creating hobbies, interest and overall development, we are also told that not to worry about submissions and academics and knowing this is itself a relief for every student, they also keep a check on us so that we don’t face any mental stress or issue and that's why I am so thankful to be the part of Vishwakarma University.”

“The foundational year really did help me to take a specialization that I am increasingly more interested in. Three years spent in this University have completely transformed me both professionally and personally. The Faculty has been extremely proficient and open to limitless queries put up by the students. I have subsequently gained valuable experiences on educational tours throughout. I also got an opportunity to work with Kesari tours on a one- month internship in June 2019. The exposure of how the work-life in a tourism company has broadened a horizon that never existed. This is such a great family with the opportunity to create lifelong friendships with people from many diverse cultures brought together by similar interests. Interactive lectures and On-field research projects helped create a friendly and rich learning environment. The World Tourism Day celebration has always been a blast! It has been a great journey altogether.”
