Overview

The bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication is a four year comprehensive degree designed according to New Educational Policy (NEP) to bring out new age media professionals with the highest emotional quotient. The ever-expanding verticals of the creative and service industry are offering a sea of opportunities to students in the news industry, political communication, public engagement, communication research and digital content industry. 

The department of Journalism and Mass Communication has an excellent teaching and training record with proven research portfolios. A finest combination of industry leaders and established academics, faculty members are visible in research journals and on opinion pieces. 

Admission to the programme ensures that students will develop critical thinking, gender equality, affirmative approach towards diversity, social consciousness through practices and activities.


 
Outcome On successful completion of the BA JMC programme at VU the student will be able to : :

Separate accommodation and food facility for Boys and Girls on a first come first serve basis.

  • Hostel Charges: Rs 1,05,000/-
  • It includes a Mess (Breakfast + Dinner) and a Refundable Deposit of Rs. 5,000/-.
