SWASTHA BALAK BALIKA SPARDHA, from 8th to 10th January, 2022.
In this regard our NSS Team was requested to conduct the Swasth Balak- Balika Spardha by organizing various activities on the subject and sending a consolidated report.
The objective of the National Service Scheme is “development of the personality of students through community service”. This objective is sought to be achieved by enabling the students to work in community. The programme aims to inculcate social welfare in students, and to provide service to society without bias. NSS volunteers work to ensure that everyone who is needy gets help to enhance their standard of living and lead a life of dignity. In doing so, volunteers learn from people in villages how to lead a good life despite a scarcity of resources. It also provides help in natural and man-made disasters by providing food, clothing and first aid to the disaster victims.
The National Service Scheme organozed a cultural event in the Campus for teaching staff, non-
teaching staff, helpers, care-takers and students of Vishwakarma University with the theme of women empowerment on 8th Mar 2022.During that event various activities organized such as a dance group performed on the theme of Women Empowerment/Acid Attack/Sexual harassment and other issues of general importance and a Music Group performed on the theme of importance of Gender Neutrality and Preventing Gender Bias by portraying women in various roles. The event was managed by Prof. Reena Pandey, Director, Student Welfare, Prof. Kailas Bhosale, Programme Coordinator, NSS , Prof. Siddhi Singh, Programme Officer, NSS, Prof. Abhay Pradhan, Programme Officer, NSS and Volunteers of NSS

The event was planned and organized by Mahek Mundada and Bhakti Oswal, the club representatives of Social Welfare and Development Club. The BLOOD DONATION EVENT was organized at ADINATH SOCIETY, SATARA ROAD PUNE from 8:00am to 4:00pm on 19th Feb 2022. Flexes, Posters and Google form were circulated amongst people before three days of the event. There were total 5 flexes. The flexes were placed at 7 loves Chowk, Suyog Center Chowk, Gangadham Chowk, City Pride Chowk and at Adinath society. Posters and google form were digitally circulated amongst the people.
