INSIGHTFUL CASE STUDY VISIT TO DAGDUSHETH GANPATI SET MANUFACTURING

Introduction:

 The Interior Design students of Vishwakarma University embarked on a insightful journey of the creation of a grand set for Dagdusheth Ganpati . The visit was organised with a view to sharpen and strengthen student’s intellectual thinking and observations regarding set design .

Objectives:

  1. Observe various steps for the creation of sets
  2. Observe the materials used and steps followed in manufacturing

Activities:

Upon arrival, students were initially guided to observe the various molds and materials present on-site. They carefully analyzed the different components of the materials available.

The students conducted a detailed study of the manufacturing process, observing each step from solution mixing to the removal of the ready model from the mold.

After the visit, the students curated a detailed questionnaire, which they discussed with the workers present. Based on this discussion, all observations and insights were noted down

  3. Learning collaboration and communication skills.
