The Faculty of Science and Technology (FoST), Vishwakarma University, conducted its Parents–Teacher Meet (PTM) on 7th November 2025 with the objective of strengthening communication between parents and the institution, sharing the academic progress of students, and addressing queries related to academics, placements, and university processes.
The program was held in two segments—central session followed by departmental interactions.

1. Central Session (3:00 PM – 4:05 PM)
The PTM commenced at 3:00 PM with a warm welcome extended to all parents.
Key Addresses

Provided insights into the university’s vision, ongoing initiatives, and holistic development goals for students.
- Abhijit Chitre (Director Academics)
Spoke about academic policies, curriculum design, and continuous efforts to enhance the learning environment.
- Omvir Gautam (Director, International Relationships)
Highlighted global opportunities, international collaborations, and exchange programs available to students.
- Kiran Pawar (Deputy Director, Placements)
Discussed current placement trends, industry expectations, training programs, and upcoming recruitment activities.
Interactive Session
A Question & Answer session was held to address parents’ queries regarding academics, student support, and career prospects.
Following the interaction, a tea break was arranged from 3:55 PM to 4:05 PM.
2. Departmental Interaction (4:05 PM – 5:00 PM)
After the central session, parents proceeded to their respective departments:
- Artificial Intelligence (SY, TY & LY)– Room 2403
- Computer Engineering (SY, TY & LY)– Room 2404
- Computer Science & MS (FY, SY & TY)– Room 2406
- Engineering Science (All FY Engineering)– Room 2407
HoD Address (4:10 PM – 4:20 PM)
Dr. Pavitha Nooji department’s Head of Department addressed the parents, sharing:
- Department achievements
- Academic performance trends
- Teaching–learning enhancements
- Upcoming academic and co-curricular activities
Faculty–Parent Interaction (4:20 PM – 5:00 PM)
Class teachers and faculty members interacted with parents to discuss:
- Student performance
- Attendance
- Behaviour and participation
- Improvement areas
- Career guidance and mentoring support
Parents appreciated the opportunity to connect directly with faculty and share concerns or suggestions.
3. Conclusion
The PTM concluded successfully at 5:00 PM. Parents expressed satisfaction with the transparency of communication and the efforts taken by the university for student development. The faculty
