Brief description of the activity:
The guest lecture was delivered by Mr. Anurag Vaidya, historian, author, and traveler, who has extensively studied the cultural heritage of India. He introduced students to the rich and diverse temple architecture of North East India, highlighting its distinctive styles, symbolism, and cultural context. Through his expertise and first-hand experiences, students gained valuable insights into lesser-known architectural traditions, enhancing their understanding of regional diversity within Indian temple architecture. The session encouraged experiential learning and sensitized students towards the importance of documenting and conserving architectural heritage.
