The Second Year Diploma in Pharmacy (S.Y. D. Pharmacy AY 2025-2026) students from the School of Pharmacy, Vishwakarma University, Pune, visited Shree Guru Gautam Muni Hospital, Bibwewadi, as part of their academic curriculum to enhance practical learning and professional exposure. The visit aimed to familiarize students with real-time hospital operations, pharmacy management, and patient care practices. During the visit,students observed the functioning of various departments, including the outpatient, inpatient,and pharmacy sections. This experiential learning activity helped students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, promoting a deeper understanding of hospital pharmacy practices. It also encouraged them to appreciate the importance of communication, empathy, and professionalism in healthcare delivery. The visit was organised and arranged by Prof. Archana Shaha.

The School of Pharmacy, Vishwakarma University, Pune organized an outreach activity to Nirankar Vastigruh on 14th November 2025 to celebrate Children’s Day through a meaningful donation drive. The initiative aimed to extend support, promote social responsibility among students, and bring joy to the children residing at the orphanage. A team of Second Year D. Pharmacy students, accompanied by faculty members Prof. Archana Shaha & Prof. Yogita Shinde, visited the institute with donated items including stationery kits, notebooks, art materials, essential groceries, and food packets. The contributions were collected through a donation campaign conducted on campus in the weeks prior to the visit.
The management of Nirankar Vastigruh appreciated the efforts of the School of Pharmacy and acknowledged the positive impact of the initiative. The outreach activity not only supported the children but also enriched the students with a deeper sense of compassion and social commitment.
