The Computer Science department has organized  guest lecture on Data Science and Analytics  in various Domains of Industry.

Dr. Anand Kolharkar Founder, Opine Group, facilitate  an insightful session for our students at Vishwakarma University, Pune. His deep expertise in Business Intelligence and Analytics provided us with valuable perspectives on the transformative power of data in driving business growth. The takeaways on customer behavior analysis, the importance of structured methodologies, and the critical role of technology as an enabler were especially impactful.
Students also showed  enthusiasm and engagement in lecture. 

The total 107  students have participated in this lecture. The guest lecturer interacted and explained different new horizons for all, reinforcing the importance of data-driven decision-making and methodologies in shaping the future of industries. Dr. Madhuri Pant has organized the lecture.

Department of  computer science has organized a Industrial Visit' to Jash Data Sciences Pvt Ltd, Pune on September 27, 2024. It was incredible opportunity  where we were warmly welcomed by the dynamic leadership team:

During our visit, the founders shared their inspiring journey of how they started the company and the current trends shaping the technology landscape. Their insights into the industry provided our students with a deeper understanding of data science and its real-world applications.
Executive Shilpa gave a tour of facilities and all departments of company.

The discussion was both fruitful and engaging, with students actively participating and asking insightful questions.  It was a wonderful opportunity for students to connect theory with practice and gain firsthand knowledge from industry leaders. A heartfelt thank you to the Jash Data Sciences team for their hospitality and for fostering such an enriching learning environment.

Department of computer science has organized a Industrial Visit' to National PARAM Super computing Facility (NPSF) at C-DAC, Pune on Thursday 29th November 2024. Total 13 students from BSc Compter Science and Open Elective Green Computing students along with 2 faculties attended the Visit. Mr.Yogesh Mustapure, projet engineer C-DAC enlightened students with working of Supercomputers PARAM SIDHI-AI, PARAM BIO INFOTECH and PARAM RUDRA. Dr. Madhuri Pant has organized the visit.
