Vishwakarma University, Pune Ranked among top 200 globally in Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings for SDG 7 “Affordable and Clean Energy” Pune

Vishwakarma University (VU), Pune is ranked among the top 200 world universities in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021 for its work related to energy and commitment to promoting energy efficiency, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal: SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy.

These rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 2021 Impact Rankings is the third edition and the overall ranking includes 1,200 universities from 98 countries.

VU has been successful in qualifying under the criterion of being ranked for the overall rankings in THE Impact Rankings 2021. VU has been ranked amongst top 300 in the SDG 6 “Access to Clean Water and Sanitation”.

A total of 49 Indian institutions are featured in THE Impact Rankings 2021, and VU, is one of the youngest universities to participate in the world rankings.

U-Multirank World Rankings of Universities for 2019-20

Vishwakarma University, Pune's untiring endeavour to transform the education sector in India has been validated by U-Multirank World Rankings of Universities for 2019-20. VU successfully made it to the latest ranking list of U-Multirank published on 9th June 2020.

VU competed with 1759 participants from 92 countries. 15 Universities and institutions with rich educational legacy and decades of experience including the likes of BHU, IIT, AIIMS, etc. participated from India, yet Vishwakarma University stood out amongst the competition.

VU scored high on indicators such as - student internships, student to faculty ratio, student engagement, teaching-learning, etc. VU was judged "Very Good" on 2 out of 5 identified parameters. Emerging University of the Year in Western India  by ASSOCHAM

Vishwakarma University, Pune has been awarded the Emerging University of the Year in Western India at the ASSOCHAM's 13th Higher Education, Skill and Livelihood Conclave 2020 held at the India Habitat Center, New Delhi on 25th February 2020. Dr. Siddharth Jabade, Vice-Chancellor received the award at the hands of Hon. Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani, President - ASSOCHAM.

The conclave, attended by more than 300 Chancellors, Vice-Chancellors, Principals, Deans, Directors, and Promoters of leading Government and Private Universities, Institutions, Colleges, Edutech startups, and Consultants across the country, was held to promote world-class quality education, innovation, and research.
