Workshop on Understanding Cross-Culture Psychology

The Department of Psychology of Vishwakarma University, as a part of its academic activity, had organised a day-long workshop on the theme of 'Culture and its association to intelligence and cognition' Saturday, October 27 at the Seminar Hall. Prof. Jiya Khatri said that the purpose of the workshop "was to help students learn intelligence and behaviour linked to culture." The invited facilitator, Ms. Anuja Kulkarni, elaborated on how behaviour and intelligence are connected to cross-cultural psychology. The workshop was helpful in understanding ethnic differences between intelligence and intelligent behaviour as well as determining various contributions of biological and socio-economic factors to Intelligence.
