Vishwakarma University, Travel and Tourism students visited historical place “Phaltan” as a part of national education tour on 11th November 2019. The field trip was conducted for academic exposure and practical study of the Travel and Tourism students. The purpose of this visit was to Study, understand, analyse the destination’s heritage value and also study Sustainability and ecological impacts in the region. Students studied the preservation and maintenance of Maharashtra’s most preserved palace. They also surveyed around the area to understand the ecological impacts, economic impacts and social impacts of tourism on the region .Data collected from the local stakeholders for further study.
