One week Employability Enhancement Programme (EEP) was organised for the final year students of MBA, BBA, MA Psychology, and MA Economics between 19th August 2019 to 24th August 2019.
The EEP is organized every year at VU to prepare students for their first job and a successful career. The scope of the programme includes CV Writing, Initial Assessment, Industry Orientation, Interview Techniques, Domain Inputs, Aptitude Training, and Mock GD/PI. It consisted of a series of interactive sessions, workshops, and assessments facilitated by industry experts, practitioners, corporate trainers, and faculty members.
In all 15+ Industry Professional contributed to this unique initiative through various sessions/ activities. Resource persons represented the organizations like Thermax, Mahindra&Mahindra, Alfa Laval, Softlink, TSI, Training India, Automation Edge, etc. Additionally, 10+ faculty members from C&M and HSS devoted their time for respective activities.
This programme is jointly organized by the Placements Office and respective Departments. The T&P Faculty Representatives from respective faculty/ departments -Prof. Niranjan Kulkarni, Prof. Nikita Jadhav & Prof. Ankita Sangle - coordinated this programme along with student volunteers.
Around 100 students from C&M and HSS participated in and benefited from this programme. A similar programme was conducted earlier for S&T and JMC. The programme for A&D students is scheduled in the last week of September 2019. The Placements Office has initiated the groundwork for Campus Recruitment Programme 2019-20.
