On the occasion of 73rd Independence Day celebration, students of Faculty of Art and Design, Vishwakarma University have put up a series of Art Installations on the theme of Patriotism. These Art Installations depicts the diversified culture and historic events that marked India’s position in the world map. These Installations are a representation of Indian Art, Culture and Architecture. It also symbolizes India’s freedom fight and the patriotic efforts of Indian citizens which includes the glorified journey of Indian Cinema and thus represents progressive India. India is a land of diversity that has seen and felt immeasurable winds of change over the years. It has been 72 years since independence and it has been prominently visible over the years how this country pledged to aim for success, and is keeping up to it. In this particular installation we have tried to depict the main elements that define India and have been an extremely prominent part of our culture and heritage. With the use of cardboard boxes, we have shown this country's transition from ancient to new India. The entire set of Art Installations are created through re-use of stationary waste, thus based on the concept of “BEST-OUT-OF-WASTE”.
