The Department of Computer Science, Vishwakarma University, Pune aims at providing quality education in Computer Science and allied fields. The department runs two programmes namely, BSc Computer Science, an undergraduate programme and a postgraduate programme- MSc computer science. Both the programmes run in association with TCS iON specialised in data science.
Keeping in view the need for value-added courses, the department also offers Minor courses in Web and Mobile Application Development that would enhance the employability of the students. The department offers a student exchange programme whereby students get an opportunity to study abroad.
The department has highly qualified and dedicated faculty that works hard at imparting quality education. Apart from teaching-learning, the faculty is involved in extensive research, consultancy and skill development programs in compliance with the vision of the department. The students are engaged in co-curricular, research and consultancy activities guided by the faculty. The department provides all the required academic, non-academic and placement support to the students.
