Introduction

Two trends are emerging in the automotive industry the world over- the electrification of powertrains and autonomous driving. The trends are clear, sure and arriving sooner rather than later. Mobility 2.0, as we call it, will be clean and autonomous. Governments and private sectors worldwide are investing heavily in the development of cleaner and greener vehicles and the required infrastructure. The demand for manpower with the relevant skills is expected to grow manifold in the near future. The objective of the EDGE Centre of Excellence is to prepare the students for the technologies of the future in the Automotive domain.
