Overview
 

The BBA Event Management is an undergraduate degree programme by Vishwakarma University, Pune - Wizcraft MIME that provides students with essential knowledge and world-class acumen in an immersive, collaborative and forward-thinking learning environment, to foster intellectual curiosity and harness domain expertise in the media and events industry.  

Event management is a creatively challenging and dynamic industry that requires professionals with diverse skillsets and proficiencies to engineer memorable events. 

Students get to learn from the front-runners of the industry and are empowered with global-standard know-how, practical learnings, specialized skills and a leadership mindset to plan, design and execute events of any scale and type. Through classroom training and practical exposure, the students learn the modern tools and techniques and gain managerial abilities to enter into the new world of event management. 


 
Outcome On successful completion of BBA (Event Management) programme at VU the student will be able to :
1 Differentiate concepts and apply theoretical knowledge of event principles delivered by industry experts.
2 Apply creative thinking, design thinking and execute well-conceptualized best in class events with systematic planning and execution.
3 Discover best sustainable and ethical practices, technology and compliances to deliver world class, innovative events.
4 Identify different types of events and business functions for industry application.
5 Design strategies, conduct research and develop techniques to create events.
6 Equipped with tools, techniques and attitude to engage with community initiatives and provide impetus for change as global citizens. Issues of concern: Environment, Sustainable practices, Gender equality, upliftment of the disadvantaged, ethical practices, community welfare, CSR.
7 Learn to formulate and evaluate plans, budgets and contracts for the efficient roll-out of events.
8 Develop a culture for continuous learning, innovation and self-reinvention by application of effective stakeholder feedback.
9 Visioneering, Missionary zeal, collaboration, communication and presentation skills. Utilize interpersonal skills and engagement for enhanced collaborations, team building and responsive communication between all stakeholders.
10 Integrate confidence building soft skills with presentation techniques and social skills for career readiness.

  • Basic Qualification Required : Passed 12th / 10+2 with English as a passing subject or 3years Diploma or equivalent qualification from any recognized Board / University.
  • Minimum % of marks at Qualifying Exam for Open Category : 45%
  • Minimum marks at Qualifying Exam for Reserve category : 40%

 Entrance : Vishwakarma University National Entrance Test (VUNET).

For Reserved Category Students – Caste Certificate, Caste Validity, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, are additionally required (over and above listed documents).

  • Rs.1,50,000/- Per academic year (annual fees). The fees will remain the same for the subsequent years of the batch.
  • Hostel fees (if applicable) and Examination Form Fee will be charged separately.

Separate accommodation and food facility for Boys and Girls on a first come first serve basis.
