Event management is a creatively challenging and dynamic industry that requires professionals with diverse skill sets and proficiencies to engineer memorable events. The Event Management Masters Studies Programmes by Vishwakarma University-Wizcraft MIME provide students with world-class acumen in an immersive, collaborative and forward-thinking learning environment, to foster intellectual curiosity and harness domain expertise in the media and events industry.

Outcome On successful completion of MBA (Event Management) programme at VU the student will be able to :
1 Understand the complex, diverse and integrated concepts and the sequential steps associated with design, development, planning and implementation of events in a political, economic and organisational context, as well as insightful application of event management theory and practices to business in local and global environments.
2 Develop the ability to employ innovative techniques, resourcefulness and flexibility to identify, research, analyse complex issues and challenges, and present solutions with action points based on analysis at any stage of planning, designing and execution of events.
3 Integrate environmental and social responsibility into the planning, designing and management of events with best global practices and ethics that are reflected in sound business decision making and effective event execution.
4 Equip students with skills and knowhow that covers conceptualising, designing, developing, planning, hosting and assessing all aspects of events for entrepreneurship or potential careers in the event industry.
5 Gain knowledge about trending tools and technology with effective application to get first-mover advantage in a global arena.
6 Prioritize  economic, social and cultural impacts of different types of events, and their implications for  various stakeholders.
7 Apply strategic and organised planning techniques and put in practice the tools for management of logistics, promotions, financing and hosting of events.
8 Build on the expertise of industry experts, but to constantly explore academic and applied study principles of research, creativity and innovation to drive excellence in ideation, design and execution of events.
9 Master  tools and techniques for effective management of teams and resources to ensure collaboration, productivity and growth, through strong relationship-building, leading, organisational skills, decision-making, problem-solving and efficient business administration. Empowering visionary mindsets and entrepreneurial abilities.
10 Create effective communicators in the professional context and empower them with oral and written communication proficiency.

  • Basic Qualification Required : Graduation with English as a passing subject or 3years Diploma or equivalent qualification from any recognized Board / University.
  • Minimum % of marks at Qualifying Exam for Open Category : 45%
  • Minimum marks at Qualifying Exam for Reserve category : 40%

Entrance : Vishwakarma University National Entrance Test (VUNET).

For Reserved Category Students – Caste Certificate, Caste Validity, Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, are additionally required (over and above listed documents).

  • Rs.2,75,000/- Per academic year (annual fees). The fees will remain the same for the subsequent years of the batch.
  • Hostel fees (if applicable) and Examination Form Fee will be charged separately.

Separate accommodation and food facility for Boys and Girls on a first come first serve basis.
