A new-age Master’s level practical programme, blending varied streams of Indian and Global music, encouraging careers as performers, researchers, and music industry professionals.
1.Programme is designed to provide an in-depth exploration of Indian Music with a focus on performance & research in the professional music field.
2. The students have options of specialisation in Hindustani Vocal/ Carnatic Vocal/Konnakkol/Music Research & Musicology from the 3rd semester onwards.
3. The Programme aims to acquaint students with research concepts and enhance students’ interest in taking up novel projects & studies in specific areas of music performance & research.
4.The programme has a balanced approach towards all the streams of music. This would be essential in grooming students to become performers, musicians, and music industry professionals.
