WATER PROFESSIONALS: NEED OF THE HOUR AND FUTURE OF THE SUSTAINABLE WORLD

Water is one of the seventeen global priorities agreed by world leaders, captured within the sustainable development goals (SDG). The SDG 6 demands for treatment of waste water and provision of universal access to adequate sanitation by 2030. Addressing these challenges requires people with the necessary skills, knowledge, experience, and the professional networks and opportunities to provide sustainable water and sanitation solutions. In the context of the sustainable development goals, there develops an urgent need for creation of professionals in water, waste water and sanitation management.
